Sometimes i do a 1u test bolus onto a paper to make sure its working ok, as i did this today, pump slid out od my hands and onto floor, had to catch it with tubing, kind of did, was dangling then pump hit floor and tumbled a bit, WHILE giving test bolus…after that, when it stopped delivering, it looked like way more than 1u came out…Q is, is it ok for pump to move around/fall/tumble or hit ground (i was sitting) WHILE its delivering a bolus? This wouldnt cause damage or it to ‘leak’/give more on its own? Which is my big fear using a pump and hqve read about…so wouldnt want to move it around while its delivwring ifnit were connected to me rather rhan a 1u test onto paper? Are you supposed to keep pump still when its delivering bolus to you?

Its not likely, but contact Tandem Support if you are concerned.

A drop of insulin (or any liquid) can spread out and look like a bigger drop, but really just flattened out. I have confidence in Tandem pump delivery system, due to the micro technology they use.
