Type 1 Pilot?

Youi do not need 20/20 vision. It simply has to be *correctable* to 20/40. I.e. you can wear glasses or contacts.

You should reword this question or take it down. You’re dead wrong about type 1 diabetics not being able to get pilot’s licenses. You can get a class 3 as an insulin dependent diabetic. Reword your question or take it down please

We have come a long way, as Type 1’s used to not be approved to fly in any circumstances. But we still have a long way to go. Here are some articles that may be of interest:
