This is Waldo, my 7 week old Maine Coon kitten – or Wacky Waldo, according Rick. I LOVE him. I got him last weekend and I have been sick this week, so we have done hours of couch time together. This kitten knows no boundaries; he is full of confidence, entitlement, really. Where does he get it? He lulls on my neck, chest, and lap like I am there just for him. He takes on anything to fight: my hand, my hair, a ping pong ball, and with such gusto! Does he not know to be scared? He has fallen into the toilet, fallen off the stairs – about a story high – and fallen off every counter and piece of furniture in the house. Yet, he just goes bounding off to the next adventure. He loves without inhibition, and he lives like there are no consequences. I want to be this fearless cat!
you are so lucky to have waldo

He sounds fantastic, what a beautiful, sweet, kitty, hope you have many, many years together :)
Wow - a MAINE COON!!!
I have dreams about having one some day. (I already have 3 cats, the stray and "can we keep it" type. I am totally in love with them.)
Waldo is fabulous!
Keep us posted on just how big he gets.
And get to feeling better. :)
Thanks for all the good wishes. Waldo went to the vet, and he weighs 2lbs now, but I think I see him growing daily. Ali, he is not going to get super big because I saw his parents and they are just normal size, which I am okay with because really big cats, like really big dogs, have a shorter life expectancy.
