Where/how do you get test strips?

I pay $10 for 300 strips a month for the one touch Verio with my insurance. I had to fight for the quantity limit because they only were going to give me 6/day. Had to have my Endo send in a prior-auth with my logs to support medical necessity and its good now.

If you can check your forumalry from your insurance company....you can see which ones are the lowest cost and just get the meter to go with it so you have less out of pocket expense.

I get mine through the mail too. For a long time I was *extremely* suspicious of that process but I have to admit that it's easier and less work, even though I'm about 1/2 mile from a 24 hour Walgreens.
