I’m a 36 year old wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. I am a stay at home momma to two beautiful girls.
I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on January 25, 2012. Let me tell ya, I was told it was life changing. THAT was and understatement. But, it is what it is. I had bad days. Good days. Really bad days. So-so day. And, more bad days. Emotions ran high. And let me tell you, being a girl, I really didn’t need any help in that particular department. If you catch my drift
I remember going to the hospital after nearly a week of blurred vision (let’s face it, I was lucky to see my hand in font of my face), and peeing ALL the time. I did lose a few pounds but I’d quit smoking in march of 2012 and was trying to lose the weight I’d gained from that so the few pounds I’d lost didn’t strike me as odd.
