Working on a project to improve life with diabetes? Apply to MasterLab Leadership Institute!

Hi everyone, I wanted to spread the word about an exciting and unique opportunity, #MasterLab Leadership Institute 2017!

Last year, diabetes advocates attended MasterLab 2016 from around the world – 28 different states and 8 countries! Based on survey feedback, we have put together an expanded program for 2017 to provide community advocates and leaders with even more support.

MasterLab Leadership Institute is Seeking:

  • Passionate community leaders working on a project to improve life with diabetes.

  • Non-profits, social enterprises, grassroots projects, anything in between.

  • Anyone passionate about helping people with diabetes: Type 1 diabetes, Type 2, POC, LGBTQIA, international friends encouraged to apply. No formal training or education required.

The 20 accepted Fellows accepted into the 2017 cohort of Fellows will be given a fully-funded scholarship, flown to the San Francisco Bay Area for a robust weekend (March 31-April 2) of expert mentorship, leadership development, and social entrepreneurship workshops. This will be an opportunity for the Fellows to advance their innovative visions for a better world for those with diabetes, and connect with other leaders passionate about the same. Fellows will learn from innovation experts, successful founders, and non-profit leaders – gaining a sharpened toolkit for pitching their ideas, finding sustainable funding, growing as a leader, refining their organizational model, and creating social impact for those living with diabetes.

If you’re working on a project and want help advancing it, we would LOVE to have you apply. You can also help us by sharing this opportunity with your network of diabetes advocates and leaders! Read more and see the application here. Please submit applications by the February 15th deadline.
