A1c’s high, and my eye doctors frown
It’s getting to me, man, its got me quite down

And give me the boost age to finish this song.

Invoke palpitations (and a great deal of sighs)
Still being young, man, I’m out on Spring Fling

DC traffic (as it’s ridin’ my bumper)
Iphones and itunes and insulin pumpers
Brown UPS boxes tied up in strings

Pizza and sundaes and diet cream soda
Chocolate and Cheetos and creamy La Mocha
Life’s not so bad when you look for the good
And exercise it off (you know that you should).
Certain websites (I can’t name, at the present time), they awesomely rock
When I’m feeling blue (as my last pair of socks)
Just turned oh-so-black and my meter reads HI
And I wonder, again- Please tell me why?
Eye drops that burn up my nose and my lashes
Carb-less wonders (is that a stray noodle?!?)
That will be supper- so forget the strudel
I’ve had less painful things (even Shingles raw rashes!)

When the blood spurts
When the shot stings
When I’m feeling sad
