I am excited to read about the Orsense monitor which is being developed. Go to www.orsense.com and see this device which NEEDS NO BLOOD and measures glucose levels by a small cuff inflated on on finger and a watch style screen to show the glucose level. It is claimed to be as accurate as finger prick methods. They have a large model which has been approved by the EU but no indication yet of when it may be marketed or what the cost might be. The firm is Israeli and produces a lot of clever devices. Any information would be welcome. Brian

I participated in one of their 24 hour clinical trials and it was an interesting experience. I understand that it will take at least another year for them to be on the market, so don’t give up, but don’t hold your breath…
