Advice on insulin pump and CGM

I have the omnipod and Dexcom. Love them both! I exercise a lot and knowing which way I am trending is great. I just set the Dexcom on the treadmill or hook it to my bike and I know if I need to eat before I get too low. I turn the alarms on vibrate, but I am always checking it, so besides at night, I don’t really need them. It would be nice if the Dexcom transmitter was a little smaller, but I just keep it in my purse or my pocket and I am good. I know you haven’t mentioned the omnipod, but that is awesome too. It is great to just stick it on and it auto inserts a cannula and you don’t have to think about it (except for looking at the PDM to bolus) for 3days! So, easy!

Thanks for all the info guys! I have to decided to go ahead and get the dexcom and am still debating on which pump to go with. I have tried to go through insurance but got rejected the first time around and now they want me to write a letter explaining why I need a CGM. So fingers crossed that after I get my letter written everything will go through!
