My version of “eating out” when I’m out all day. Stopping by a coffee shop, getting plain tea with nothing added, and asking for an additional cup of hot water to make the chia pudding I brought with me (thanks to @Terry4 for introducing me to the chia pudding!)
I miss “real” eating out, but I only eat out a few times a year because it’s such a hassle/risk (and almost always I end up paying $17 for a salad of greens, a few veggies, and oil and vinegar dressing I could make at home for $2). It gets hard some days to always bring my own food, especially when travelling. But being healthy and safe is worth it in the end.
My meal wasn’t half bad, though. And now I’m off to class!
Made Chia pudding with Almond milk and Stevia. Mixed in blueberries and sliced strawberries. Popped in the fridge for ten hours. Yum. My wife liked it but thought it was very filling.
