Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in the effectiveness of Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) in capsule form or tablet form? Thank you!
Hello,
Are you taking alpha lipoic acid (apa) for autonomic neuropathy? If so, what have you noticed in terms of positive affects? I have heard they have done tests in Germany giving patients the APA both in vitamin form and IV form with some nerve healing success.

I have been on ALA for about 10 years and my neuropathy has not progressed during that time. Who knows why it hasn't progressed because I'm sure I may have done other things that affect the problem? I will continue to take it because I think it helps. I guess that is all that counts. I take the capsules.
Hi flipper, hi everybody.
Flipper: I am finding a lot of good information in these threads, but it would be great if it was more specific. For instance: how much ALA do you take? Have you increased it throughout these years? And when you started, how did you find out about ALA? Is there a good, succinct reference?
