Another Baby?

Haha,, I love seeing "advanced maternal age" on my chart,, does that qualify me for medicare and social security? I feel like I should get something for the label,,LOL (I'm 38 and 10weeks pg with baby#3)

The minimed paradigm revel does not actually have a built in CGM. If you GET the cgm sensor, the pump itself works as the receiver, and you only have one pager-like thing on your belt. But it's two things attached to your skin, and two things for your insurance company to approve. (I have the minimed pump, and my insurance keeps denying me a CGM because I'm doing too well. Bastards.)

I've only had T1 for a year, and was only on MDI for maybe 3 months before switching to the pump. But I have to say that I loooove having a pump, and would hate to be pregnant without it. You can eat small bits all day without multiple shots! (Bolusing is just a matter of pushing a few buttons.) You can have tailor-tweaked basals at different times of day, rather than relying on Lantus! Much easier to conquer DP.

What? Wow! You got pregnant within like 6 weeks of giving birth??!? Congratulations!

I have 2 beautiful daughters my oldest was born at 37.5 weeks because of pre-eclampsia I had her via c-section because I did not dilate so had to go through an emergency c-section. With my 2nd I waited 4.5yrs to have her I did not develop pre-eclampsia and delivered at 37wks my A1c was 4.3 with my 1st and 5.8 with my 2nd my oldest weighed 6lbs even, and my little one weighed 5.4lbs they are both healthy. I did have my kids at a very young age but I dont think your age will have anything to do with having any complications I think as long as you have everything under control you will be fine. Good luck and best wishes :)

No, 12 months later?? I am 12 weeks pregnant now. My toddler is 15 months old.
