Another study published in the Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice Journal reported a 30-percent decrease in HbA1c (average blood glucose level) in people with type 2 diabetes who ate a healthy diet including pearl barley that supplied 18 grams of soluble fiber per day.

It’s funny I just bought barley flour and I was looking up recipes for it!! I will try some out soon! But I also found that a lot of people have allergies to barley flour which can cause gastrointestinal problems (I think just upset stomach). Hmmm… I will find out soon I guess!!
