Love it----Years ago, when I decided to take charge of my own birthday meal, I would make my mom’s incredible beef stroganoff followed by an angel food cake with cocoa whip cream frosting. The stroganoff is still fine, but when I went low carb a decade ago, it took me a couple years to find a good substitute for the cake—by now, there are tons of recipes available…And my husband evolved a new approach to the whip cream (though the original was never a problem) that besides cocoa and vanilla and a substitute sweetener (I like stevia), he adds a splash of Benedictine----curl your teeth rich!..
