My friend is blind & uses a souls meter. Her insurance company is changing the meter on her and she doesn’t want to change. What can she do? Nancy
I think you mean the Solus meter. Another talking meter is the Prodigy meter. As long as she can get a talking meter does it matter?
The way to get insurance coverage is to fight back with a letter of medical necessity. Obviously your friend needs a talking meter, that should be really easy. Arguing that the Solus is needed over something like the Prodigy, that might be harder.

Thank, my iPad auto corrected and I missed it. She likes the function of this meter. Personally ,I hate the fact insurance company mandate what type of meter we have to use. Meters are important tools for all of us.Nancy
