Blisters!

Last weekend I went for a long walk, as I do when the weather is good. I walked 7 kilometers. I decided to wear flip flops on my walk, because I didn’t want a sock tan. Well, just past the half way mark my feet were really sore and I realised I had blisters. Of course, I had to walk the rest of the way down since I had climbed a hill and there was no-one else around. I’ve decided that I’m going to use a tanning lotion on my feet from now on, and wear proper shoes.

But what do I do about the blisters? Should I go to a doctor and have them drained, or can I do it at home? Should I just leave them to go away? I’m nervous to just leave them, as the last blister I developed, although depleted, is still there…

Leave them alone. Try to keep them from getting popped and they will go away naturally with little scaring or pain. If you drain them or that thin film of skin gets removed it is going to hurt like h ll.
