Caffeine Impairs Insulin?!

I just found out that caffeine affect our blood sugars. I was really sad about this, and am now curious if I need to reduce my caffeine intake...YIKES! http://irunonbatteries.blogspot.com/2013/07/does-this-mean-no-more-caffeine.html

Drink decafe coffee. Apparently this does not effect so bad

I'm in denial. I can't cope with the thought of a diet soda-less existence!

I have read this, however caffeine has no affect on my blood sugars. It also doesn’t keep me awake. Maybe those two things are related.

I'm like bojibridge, caffeine does not affect my blood sugars nor does it keep me awake. As a great concession my ex CDE allowed me 2 cups of coffee a day, so I tested and found I am ok with coffee. Decaf coffee just does not hack it.

Give up my coffee.....Never

It is incredible, caffeine's affect, I used to work at an office that had an espresso machine. After two espressos my blood sugar would sky rocket, after a few cups of coffee as well. I found that one / two cups and there's no major fluctuation.
But with me yes---caffeine affects it, something to be mindful of.

caffeine does nothing to my blood sugars. our BG's typically rise naturally in the mornings...so some may contribute it to caffeine in the morning. but, there's nothing in there that raises my BG's.
