Hi Super_sally,
Thanks for posting this!
Have you started the course, yourself? The Coursera website lists the workload as 4-6 hours a week, do you have any idea what that really means?
Does a "class" meet on a certain day at a certain time, or does one just do it when convenient?
Thanks!
Best wishes,

Thanks so much for replying so quickly, Sally!
It does sound really interesting! Just a question of weighing it against other commitments.
Interesting what your learned about MIDD!
Thanks again for posting about the course!
Best wishes,

Do you know if the courses on Coursera are archived or re-offered at a later date?
It sounds really informative, but I'm currently in the middle of my master's thesis, so there is no way I have time to take it right now, even though I'm interested!
I signed up for the course today and there is still time if anyone else wants to. The first quiz should be completed by 11:59 am Pacific Time on Monday, November 11. So someone (in the US) could sign up as late as Sunday morning if they had maybe six hours to get up to speed with the process, go through the videos, and take the quiz.
Best wishes,

OOPS!!
Sorry! I was wrong! The first two quizzes are due by 11:59 am Pacific Time on Monday, November 11!! So, I'm really guessing here, but the coursework is described as 4-6 hours per week, so that would make it 8-12 hours needed to complete both quizzes by then, and probably an extra hour just to get familiar with the system.
Sorry! I hope that my previous post hasn't gotten anyone in over their head! It is a free course, and it is possible to withdraw.
Best wishes,
