Calling all Diabetics in the Detroit Metro area! There are a few of us who have met at a Starbucks on Crooks Rd off I-75 in Troy, MI. We are thinking of meeting again either Sun Sept. 12 (this Sunday) or Sun, Sept. 19th at 1pm. We’d love some more people so please let us know if you’re interested. I’m trying to pick a day where most can come so let us know which day is best.
This sounds like it could be fun. Sunday the 12th would be best for me since my granddaughter’s 6th Birthday is on the 19th. I live about 1 1/2 hours from Detroit Metro. There are not many Type 1s around me.

I’m so sorry, I started a new post with the final date on the T1 and Michigan pages, figured it would be seen my more people that way. Thinking about meeting again around Nov. I am in the little town of Onsted, which is about 30 miles south of Jackson, 45 minutes SW of Ann Arbor. I host a picnic here at my house every August for like the last six years. We are planning on the forth Saturday next year. Hopefully I will be able to make it next time, I’m pretty open on time.
i know where Onsted is! My husband grew up in Cadmus near Adrian. Have fun at the picnic. That’s a great idea.
