I ordered some clear over patches for the G7 which I haven’t started using yet. (I have one more G6 to use before I plan to switch.) I’ll see how well they last

No problem.
Am highly allergic to the G6 adhesive. Dexcom offers users these clear adhesive rings that provide protection from the adhesive. Can’t remember what they’re called but call and ask - they sent me a whole bunch that I use almost every time. Works like a charm too. Will find the name of them for you!
Thank you Sheryl. I am due to change my G7 sensor today after 10 days. I did not apply any type of over patch nor did I use any additional products. It has stayed in place without peeling or irritation.

Well that is good JVG! Yes, I use an Overpatch every single time, also got some Skin Tac wipes that help a lot too - helps provide a barrier between the adhesive and your skin. Don’t think I could manage without out them! Used to shop for similar products online - find it weird everyone seems to have issues with the adhesives. G7 doesn’t bother me at all, lucky me. Find this is an excellent place to explore what other diabetics are doing to manage all issues related to diabetic challenges. Should come back here more frequently! Take care!
