Dexcom Receiver and Phone

My Dexcom receiver and Android phone are both on all day. Basically I use the receiver when my phone is charging and to restart my sensor.

When I calibrate my G5 I only calibrate my phone but both are on and usually within access of each other. Does it matter that I only calibrate my phone?

The brains of G5 are in the transmitter and that is what you are calibrating. So when you calibrate on one device, that is all you have to do.
