I’ve been seeing this in social media and was wondering if anyone had any feedback, success, ease of use, etc. with the offer. Please let us all know if anyone has any follow up!
Get started with Dexcom for $0 out-of-pocket*
Then get $200 for taking a new patient survey.
The Dexcom G5® Mobile Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System gives you glucose readings every 5 minutes and a trend arrow to let you see where you’re heading. Help take the guesswork out of managing your diabetes.
Must purchase G5 System between 11/14/16-12/31/16.
*if you have met your 2016 deductible and have no copayment obligation
I don’t get it. If you’ve met your deductible and have no copayment obligation, isn’t it already $0 to the patient?
I don’t have a huge deductible, but it’s enough that I wind up paying for all my Dex stuff in full, all year. I’d like to see a perk for people like me!
They had something similar a few years back, when I upgraded from Dexcom 7 to G4. Was going to upgrade anyway as the 7 was out of warranty, and the $200 gift card was nice.
I think I got an email with link to get to the ‘survey’, and after completion, received a cash card.
I used a Dexcom 7 years ago and therefore I think I’m no longer a “new patient” and not eligible for the $200 cash back. If someone can prove me wrong I’ll give them $50.
Clearly the $0 out of pocket “*if you have met your 2016 deductible and have no copayment obligation” is a 100% meaningless silly statement.
I was wondering the same thing! I used a Dexcom 7 many years ago and recently starting pondering over the G5 - haven’t had the chance to call and ask if I’m eligible for the survey offer.
I did call and order one and they said it’s been so long since I’ve been with them that I’ll be treated as if a new customer and thus eligible for the rebate.
My theory about the “'if you have met your 2016 deductible and have no copayment obligation” is a 100% meaningless silly statement.’ holds true
I am struggling with this $200 rebate. I have been denied due to Dexcom stating that I have insurance coverage, so I do not qualify. About 2 dozen emails, and half a dozen phone calls, and still nowhere on this. Bottom line is that I had about $150 out of pocket, and no $200 back. I think I will go back to Minimed!
