I was given the opportunity to "Discuss Diabetes", how to plan for school, and how things have changed over the five years that Caleb has been living with diabetes in a school environment.
There are a couple of things that I feel strongly about when it comes to Caleb's care. I've learned much in the past five years through research, experience and talking with others. My interview with Laura from Sanofi touches upon a little of each.
Caleb starts school next week. It's not something I do not look forward to - I enjoy our summers at home together. But each year it gets a little easier to send him as each year I get a little better at advocating for his needs.
