I had a blood test run on campus today and it was $265. I just feel guilty for being such a financial burden on my family. Does anyone else feel this way?

I don't understand. My daughter is in college and she is covered by my health insurance. Are you not covered under your parents insurance? You can be covered up to age 26 in this way.
I get health insurance through my university, so I too am surprised you had to pay that. However, my old university didn’t cover pump supplies, and my parents offered to pay out of pocket, but I just couldn’t let them take on that cost. So yeah, I hear you.
Yes, I've often felt that way. Diabetes is expensive. But....Remember that you are worth it Hannah. Your family loves you and they do not ever regard you as a burden. Your LIFE IS IMPORTANT. You are invaluable. You can't put a price on your life. You are priceless. Can you "repay" your family by living a beautiful life and taking care of yourself? You have so much to give back, love to give.
