Hi, I am a volunteer at my local hospital’s Diabetes Education Center and as a type 2 that has not yet needed to move to insulin, I can not test one of these devices. The Diabetes Sentry brochure describes an “affordable, life-changing device for the detection of nocturnal hypoglycemia symptoms”. As we have no experience with this device, we need input on its functionality and accuracy. We worry that patients will rely on the device too much and if it misses lows, this could lead to disaster.
So does anybody use this device? Would you recommend it to others? What are its good and bad points?
Thanks for your help, we have patients who could Benifits from this device if it works well.
