Drug Names

I wish I had a job as a drug namer.

Some of the names remind me of strange things.

Januvia sounds like an Eastern European city where they make baskets.

Metformin sounds a New York baseball training and exercise camp.

Byetta sounds like goodbye after eating.

Anyone have any thoughts of their own, or is the Metformin affecting me again?

Oh, and I love the i-port. They should have written it as iPort like iPod.

Januvia sounds like Genovia, the imaginary kingdom from the Princess Diaries.

and I think there was a catalog for women’s clothing called Junovia.
