Elated!

This morning our Omnipod PDM advised us to change out the pod.

Just…woohoo!!!

Any ideas why the first few pods failed? I hope your good luck continues to hold.

First pod came off, so I’m not counting that as a pod failure. I’m counting that as my failure in ensuring it was adhered to the skin adequately.

Second pod failure was a failure. Error was something to the effect of Insulin unable to be delivered. Very high bg…took it off and put on another one.

Third pod failure they didn’t even understand because they want us to ship the pod back so that the engineers can examine it and figure out what caused the error.

Awesome! Hopefuly it will be mostly smooth sailing from here

I was a pod user for 10 years (since the very beginning!). I loved it! Over the years things just got better and better as far as failures etc. Even with a few glitches and bumps now and then…I always thought it was an amazing tool. It is the only pump I would consider going back to (unless someone comes up with a micro sized, tubeless, thinks on it’s own, invisible, no changing sites ever pump! lol!)

Hugs and best on continued success with podding! I you are ever in need to vent, have questions, etc…I am happy to chat, talk on the phone whatever about Omnipod!

Yaaay! Happy to hear your good news! :tada:

If such a pump is in our future, I’ll bet Insulet will be the company that does it!
