Ever heard of Chaya or Tree Spinach?

A co-worker just introduced me to Chaya AKA Tree Spinach that is supposed to help reduce blood sugar if you make tea with it and drink it. (I guess it's kinda like Green Tea?) I'm doing some research on it to see if anyone else has had good results from drinking Chaya Tea.
I live in Texas so it might be easy for me to get this plant and try it out.
It's supposed to be one of the "Super Foods" or "Wonder Foods" that the Mexicans discovered and use for lots of ailments, including diabetes. One article I read says it has double the protien and vitamins of our spinach that we normally eat. (I hate spinach but I may drink the tea from it.)

I would greatly appreciate your opinions... God Bless, Autumn

I'm always skeptical about these things, but worth a try if you can find a free or inexpensive source. Expensive to buy. Have to question how many nutrients like ascorbic acid remain after boiling leaves because heat destroys Vit C & some others.

Let us knows if it helps you.
