I know I am new to this and if i am overstepping my boundries please let me know but having this disease has gotten me interested in help raise funds to find a cure. I live in Northwest Iowa and even though there is not much here there has to be somewhere close by sponsoring a fundraiser that I could help out at or someone willing to sponser one close by. Every little bit helps and raising awareness is a big part of helping to find a cure. We can use all the help we can get. If anyone knows or has any info on this please let me know and i will do everything i can do to help.

You could tell people in different zip codes to look into it…you donate from your zip code and then the map gets filled in.
Other than that, go on to the jdrf.org website or diabetes.org websites to find things…best of luck !
