Hey everyone I am Alexis. Mom of two boys, Synsyre age 6 and Justice age 8.
Justice was diagnosed with Type 1 on 10/21/08 just a few days after turning 6. He is pumping Apidra with an Animas Ping and is a Dexcom user.
I am the Las Vegas 2011 Walk chair for JDRF, and a Diabetes blogger! I joined the site a while back but after my laptop crashed never made it back on. So here I am.

Howdy. What Danny says! This site (after being on MANY others) showed me a place where I felt like home and noone would judge me or come back with some off the wall answer that I knew wasn’t right.
Off the wall answers now Doris you know if only you tried that magic Mexican tea and ate the magic high carb RAW food diet your pancreas would magically start working again.
