If u do plan to go there, isn’t your safety a number-one priority? It won’t do u any good if you score insulin, but don’t make it back home safely. I see nothing wrong with people mentioning the dangers (which are inarguable).

I’ve been there several times in the last few years, however out of 61 comments 95% are about safety and dangers in Mexico. And still my question was not answered only focus is on safety
There shouldn’t be any issue with getting your insulin from Mexico and if you are regularly going there anyway then you aren’t putting yourself any more at risk by going to a reputable pharmacy and purchasing your insulin. You should however call a few days ahead to inform the pharmacy that you will be purchasing several vials so that they have time to order extra. Be sure to have a prescription from your US Dr. handy when you go back across the US border so that there won’t be any snafus with border patrol. BTW, I haven’t ever bought any Mexican insulin but I did used to get my meds from Canada when I was without adequate insurance.

I wouldn’t travel to Mexico if I was promised a pot of gold.
