Has anyone else here been on HCTZ? How did it affect your blood sugars? Thanks!

I have been on Lisinopril/HCTZ for the past 15 years to help control my blood pressure. That combo has been really effective for me.
Never affected my blood sugar.
Note that uncontrolled blood pressure is almost as big a risk as uncontrolled blood sugars, at least for the micro vascular complications. And obviously controlling blood pressure is important for macro vascular health.
Lisinopril (in the combo Lisinopril/HCTZ pills I take) is an ACE inhibitor which is a great thing for reducing microvascupar complications too.

That why I have been on low dose Lisinopril for years even though I’ve never had high blood pressure.
I take the Spironolactone/HCTZ combination and it is no issue.
