Mice have been cured of “type 1 diabetes” how many times in the past?

I’ve pretty much stopped paying attention to genetically-altered mice studies, because 99% of the findings turn out to not work in humans.

I pay attention to potential cures once they start reaching the human testing phase …

Refuse to get hopes up till I see it in human trials. The only one I have let gett my hopes up a bit, but more in a pipe dream way is Richard Burt’s use of stem cells.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSacg-0ZpK8&feature=related

ya but they get to ill them and analyze the outcome I think rat studies are good
