Hi everybody. I am April. My 7 year old daughter Skylar was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on February 20, 2009. She has been on the Animas Pump since April 13th. She has her moments but basically is handling all of this really well. She’s tough! I joined here so that I can learn as much as possible about how to take the best care of Skylar and her Diabetes. I look forward to talking to you all and getting lots of information and advice from everyone. Is anyone located in Brooklyn, NY with a Diabetic child?
