For some reason, I seem to be able to get completely normal BG these days. It looks like this: My fasting BG is in the low 80s. I spike up to about 120 at 45 minutes after eating but am down to under 100 after an hour. After about 2 hours my BG is back to around 85. This seems to be exactly what my husband’s numbers look like but with a huge difference. He can get these numbers with 100g of carbs. I can manage them with about 15g carbs (without insulin) or 30g (with 2 units). I am early LADA and still have second phase insulin so I am guessing this might be similar to what most Type 2s would experience.
