I would have another test done readings are too normal when the other one was done maybe had a bad day, lol
Yeah… and sometimes certain meds or vitamins make blood sugar go up, and make a person look like they are Diabetic… Like taking more than 4500 mg of Vitamin C, for example… And cholesterol drugs.
Well all I have had to eat all day is 2 eggs (1g each) 1 slice of toast (16g) and some bacon. That was around 11 or 11:30. Now around 4 I am a 4.5 (81). Not exactly what I would call a low with hardly any food since supper last night.
I am not sure what an A1C is… they took a blood sample. Made me drink that sweet orange glucose stuff. Then took more blood after 2 hours.
go to the pharmacy here they are only $70 and get one

try to get a second opinion, your readings were really good considering the meal youve had… … also, your doc should have ordered a glycosylated hemoglobin(A1C), this will show your average blood glucose levels for the past 3 months…
