For those of you who dont know me, herez a lil intro about myself, Im type 1 Diabetic, since 2009, on Insulin Novoropid and Detemir and my hba1c is 8%. My endo is trying hard to keep a check on my sugars and plans to bring it further down in 3 weeks. And meanwhile I have tons of doubts in my head going on right now. Can you guys plz suggest what to eat in first trimester?

Thanks for the suggestion meee. I would definitely discuss this with my doctor and will change to insulin pump. Any suggestions regarding pumps which is pregnancy friendly??
I’m not sure about them being pregnancy friendly but I like mine which is the tandem t slim- you can do very small doses with it. I met someone at a support group recently who has one that shuts off when your bg goes to 50- it’s connected with her sensor, I’ve just forgotten which one it is now. I wish mine shut off automatically at 50, but the problem is sometimes or frequently dexcom is wrong, however I do tend to drop a lot when I sleep sometimes so I would feel safer with that feature too. I would also get a dexcom if you don’t have one already, this will help you a lot. If you get one make sure to insure it on your home owners or another insurance so if it gets damaged and insurance won’t get you another yet you can replace it.
