Insulin pens

How do you store your insulin pens when you go places? I live in Florida so it's really hot. My pens say to not let them get hotter then 86, if I go anywhere where I have to take them they are going to get to hot. But if I put them in a cooler won't that be to cool since they are suppose to be at room temperature? thanks

I recommend the Frio. I believe there's a link somewhere on here and we get a discount. You soak them in water to activate them and then they are good for a few days until you have to soak them again.

Many of us, btw, keep pens and vials in the fridge not at room temp, as long as they don't actually freeze.

Check out Amazon, they have a bunch of portable, small size device for transporting your insulin and keeping it cool.
