Introducing Whitney Nicole

Her and I are both doing good. Her breathing is labored but as of right now she isn’t on any oxygen. She has an iv for fluids and antibiotics as she isn’t allowed to eat at the moment. They want to make sure the swallowing and sucking reflexes are there before we try to feed her. She is 4 and half lbs, 16 nd half inches. Apgar score at birth was 8.

OMG!!! She’s so Pretty and dainty. Congratulations Cody!!! I’m so Happy that you are both doing Good. When was she born? When are you two able to go home? Babies normally lose some weight after they are born. Not to worry. They regain it. I’m so Happy for you. I love babies and little ones. You’re going to have so much Fun and get lots of Love from Whitney. Wonderful name. Best Wishes to you all. Blessed be the Child…Whitney Nicole.

She looks beautiful and strong! Keep us posted on how she is doing!!!

Cody, I’m so happy for you. How beautiful!

what a cutie!!

She is doing great, they have already moved her out of nicu to progressive which step down. She will be discharged from progressive in around 7-10 days. They are going to try to start feeding her later today or tomorrow. She is going through the stages to get out of the hospital a lot faster than normal.

Ahhh… soon to be spoiled rotten, loaded with up sugar by various family members and sent home with you!

Congratulations Cody!!!

Congrats!,A job well done! She is a Beauty!

She was like: “Mommy, let me sleep some more!” with an eye half open.

She’s a beauty. Congrats, CODY!!!

Thank you everyone. She is doing amazing. They have let me change her diaper, they are letting us hold her and they are now trying to feed her. She has taken 5 ccs without a problem, if she takes the next 5 ccs they will move her up to 10 ccs. They told me that she might get tired and might have to take some feedings by tube, but she is a little fighter and is strong.

She is just perfect! Congratulation Cody.

Cody - two months ago, would you ever have imagined, in your wildest dreams, that here you’d be today with a baby? Good glory but life throws us unexpected surprises.
She is wonderful. Thank heaven that you were in good control all these months.
I can’t wait to see more pics of her, and follow her as she grows.

YAY! Gratz! Stepping her down so early is a GREAT sign. Like I said, Lauren only spent 21 hours in NICU, Drew 12, and Jack, my last, only 6. She’s a fighter!

Take care, Mom, and sweet baby!

I am so glad she is a fighter! you go girl!

Thanks everyone. I will probably put more pictures up of her tomorrow. She is taking the 10 ccs of formula without a problems and she may be losing the iv tomorrow as well. They are letting me feed her if I am down there every 3 hours which I have been doing.

She’s absolutely beautiful, Cody. Congratulations, honey!!!

She must be wondering that all that flashing is about!! What a cutie to see. Glad that you are both fine and dandy.

Keep us advised with pictures and blogs!
