Job Interview Jitters...and insulin

This is bad…and I know it is.

I have a job interview in about 2 hours. My BGL is high right now (211…the bolus for my coffee was under estimated). And I’m not going to correct it. I get really nervous at interviews, and if I go LOW, it’ll make everything worse.

What would you do?

Here’s a discussion on the subject

I wish you good luck on the interview! Be yourself, you have a terrific personality!

211, lol, thats good in my world, I am used to crazy fluctuations in BS, had like a 35 other day, then last week was up to 450? 90-120, lol that exists:)?

I hope the interview went well. Was your blood sugar even higher afterwards?

The interview went GREAT…and my levels weren’t too high when I sat down for lunch afterward. I learn something every day with my D.

I think I would have done exactly the same thing you did. I’d rather have a slightly high BS than risk a low one when I need to be on point and answering questions. Congratulations on the great interview. Let us know if you get the job.
