First sensor is inserted and it was way less painful than the MM. Easy start up. Will continue to wear MM and compare of the next week or so. Hoping for great correlation!

I would be very surprised if you have "great correlation". When I switched from the MM to the Dex, I found the Dex to be MUCH more accurate (and much easier to use) than the MM. In any event, I wish you success and wellness!
congrats on your dex. i also am new to dex, im on my 3rd sensor and loving it. much easier than constant finger stick and very accurate so far for me.
How long do you find for the sensor to "settle" in? I put it in around 2:30 today and have had numbers ranging from 59-259. ALl not accurate by the way.
Sometimes I put the new sensor in before I go to bed but wait to 'start sensor' until the morning. If I insert it during the day, I wait a few hours to 'start sensor'. It seems to be more accurate sooner when I do it this way. But even then, sometimes it is completely wacked for the first day.

I rarely "trust" it on the 1st day. However, today is day 18 with this sensor and it has been rockin' the numbers for over 2 weeks! I can't wait to hear how your comparison goes!
So far -pretty equal. Today MM did get a predictive low alert and CGM was at 70, but BG was 106 and Dex was 94 and steady. I recalibrated MM and it caught up.
