L.W. Simons ... 63ish years with Diabetes

There is another member at TU that has had Type 1 Diabetes for 63ish years. She has inspired me for the past 5 to 7 years (We belong to another Diabetic message board together). It doesn’t look like she really posts here a lot and did not put this info I am telling you now on her page.

I thought it was important people know this information because she has had such an impact on my Diabetic life ( I know if there was the internet when I was dx’d/newbie I would have loved to have known there were people out there surviving for this length of time) There are a few other members here at TU that belong to the other Diabetic message board that I speak of, that can back this info up.

Good golly, I hope she does not get upset with me for posting this info :wink:

Dear Danny,

No one could ever get mad at you as you are the sweetest persons I know and I am one of those that has communicated with SIMONS over the years. Danny and I have been friends as well over the past 7 years meeting up on another Diabetic message board and chat room. OMG, the longtime friendships we have made and the crazy chat games we played, laughing just thinking about it.

63 years wowsa and to make such an impact on Danny as well, she should be recognized, indeed.
