I also needed a quick bracelet that did not scream medic alert and was ugly. I bought a stylish bangle type bracelet with designs and has the medic alert symbols on the two ends. I says diabetic inside. Most people compliment the bracelet and not till they look closer see it is a medic alert. It was pretty cheap and I got it off ebay. I believe a medic alert is really important all the time because no one knows when something is going to happen. If it hasnt great but when it does you want to be able to communicate when you are unable to that you are diabetic.
