Medication Assistance

Hi All…I have not been on for awhile. I was wondering through all of the things we all go through if anyone has contacted any of the assistance programs for medications. I am on chronic pain meds, Fentenyl Patch 100mcg. every other day; Hydrocodone for break through pain. This is for the multiple back surgeries and tumors removed from my spinal cord. Knees replaced, shoulder replaced and problems with the joint of the other shoulder, plates and screws in both feet etc. etc. I can walk but can’t stand or sit for any length of time. I take 40Units of Lantus once daily, BP meds and trazadone to try and get a couple hours sleep. My insurance was running about $994 a month. I lived off of my maintenance I got from my divorce until recently when my ex-husband had some business problems and couldn’t pay it. I have now lost my insurance and the meds are all expensive. I have had my BG under pretty good control but know if I don’t take the Lantus it is going to be back in the 400’s. I just wondered if any of you have gone through the gammit of applying for any help and which ones might be able to help in a rather short period of time. I live in Missouri. I would appreciate any help or advice anyone can give me. Thanks

What about the partnership for prescription assistance?

There are two really great discussion threads we’ve had on the topic.
