Meet TuD!

I’d like to introduce you to TuD! TuD turns 6 years old this month.

You will be seeing more of TuD on TuDiabetes and other Diabetes Hands Foundation social media channels this month, as we celebrate his birthday and his big, international family of people affected by diabetes.

Keep your eyes peeled for him on Diabetes Hands Foundation, TuDiabetes, Facebook, Twitter (@diabeteshf, #TuDiabetes), Pinterest and Instagram!

I was thinking ryhmes with dude, (atti)tude, etc. too. Interesting idea. Are we trying to bring more younger members in? I think that would be interesting although sometimes I'm leery of tossing ideas out around impressionable kids...

wow it has been 6 yearasdoin't seem real. i'm getting too old LOL!

TuD is just a few weeks older than Eric, who will be six on April 15th. <3

Have any of you noticed TuD popping up anywhere else on the site, or on the internet in general?

@acidrock - TUDE!!

@Emily - always great IMO to create a visual, humanizing(?) connection to your members. IOW, I like him!

Now that I think about it some more, TuD could have a whole family:

ToneD (Tone-D - very musical)
2rueD (ToneD's fraternal twin - similar, yet so different)
La-D-Da (we call her Lada!)
ThreeD (Provides emotional support to the whole family)

You heard it here first!

!8^)

Aci-D!! LOL... I like the humanizing too (Tu?)

Golly gosh, Mike, hope I don't look like him! Think he's great for the little kids, suspect the teens would prefer an anime, as for me I don't want diabetes humanized, except perhaps as a devil.

I hear you Pastelpainter, but I wasn't referring to humanizing diabetes(!), just the TuDiabetes experience.

Anime - oooh!

@ Emily no i haven't but not so computer savy here lol
sorry put him in my news feed lol i will share him lol

over on fb

'TUDE! I love it! :D

Yeah, he's supposed to represent the community and that experience...not diabetes itself.

He’s fine, needs a message bubble
