It is nice to know I am not alone in the things I experience!!!

Yep, an epidemic. I had posted a thread about my own rising numbers recently. After gradualy increasing my basal and my I:C ratios, I just about had hit normal when the last two days I dropped under 50 twice and had to munch on glucose. So, being a LADA, it might be a temporary insulin drop that is now rebounding. I’ll inch it down a bit and let’s see if I end up back where I started! Last night when I kept seeing readings in the 40s I muttered, “sometimes diabetes is just not fun” and then realized that most of the time I find it an interesting challenge. Just weird that way I guess. Good luck to you in getting your numbers down.
Yeah!
OK, it might be me your meter, or it might be that your body is fighting an infection and the higher numbers are your body’s way of letting you in on it! one number at at time.
Diabetes is never the same disease 2 days in a row and higher numbers happen, regardless of your a1c.
We are riding the roller coaster of blood- Hang in there! Hope the following makes you laugh! http://tinyurl.com/yh8lsh8
