Natural birth

Has anyone here had a physiological birth (labor started on its own, water broke on its own, no interventions at all, "delayed" cord cutting etc etc) with their babies while having diabetes?

I am just getting so frustrated with all of the Cesarean sections I keep reading about, when a major abdominal surgery for a diabetic is a huge risk factor, and was directly responsible for my daughter's near death at birth almost 9 years ago.

I guess I'm also looking for what I can do to help myself avoid all of those interventions and issues.

Thanks in advance,
Jen

My water broke early and then sealed itself off to a slow leak. Dr admitted me the hospital for monitoring and bed rest. I went a week before I went into labor. So I guess I had natural childbirth. My ob said there was no reason to schedule a c-section and this was when I found out I was pregant he told me this. He doesn't like to do c-sections unless it is an emergency.
