New to here, not new to neuropathy

Hi Fellow Neuropothy-ers...
I just found this site and this is the first group I've checked out as you seem to know your agonizing business.
I haven't been able to work in 2 1/2 years, since I was 47.
I was ROBBED!
LoL. Okok.
I'm also overly dramatic and given to hyperbole.
I can't feel (as in numb, tingly, a dis-embodied almost feeling) my legs or arms (that includes hands and feet) and those stinker's TOOK my license away several years ago.
PIGS!
I'm fat, BUT my BG has been normal for years and my latest A1C is 6.5 and I stay between 6.5 and 5.5.
The FIRST thing out of most Dr's mouth is "everything will be fixed if you lose weight."
I'm down 40 lbs - all of which yelled and screamed as they left me.
I haven't seen 242 in 27 years! (I'm 5'8" tall.)
Good numbers for years and the neuropathy keeps getting worse and attacking more of me.
Neurontin, Cymbalta, Demerol, Percocet, please forgive my mis-spellings, all the B Vitamis plus bi-weekly shots...
I take Humolog, Lantus, Januvia, and Metformin.
I'll get rid of or take anything I can tell my Dr. about that she'll ok.
I have very little outside life.
I live in a climate controlled room, no one can touch me (PAIN!), and I can't touch book pages anymore but my kids got me a Kindle! I LOVED crocheting SO much (ow-y yarn!)
LoL - I complain sooo much :)
I do.
I'm exhausted by pain.
I'll listen.
