On the animas pump, endo thinks metronic 670G would be best

i do have a bit of hypos that happens. especially in the mornings. in the middle of the night im steady but then will have that drop. in the afternoons i am on the high side. so im not being steady throughout the whole day no matter what i do to get it correct. so the auto mode will be helpful and give me a much tighter control

I am a Medtronic Ambassador and for the record they do not give me any compensation (OK I got a shirt and cup). At any rate having said that, I can say I love my 670G. My A1C was around 5.8 before hand and 5.9 three months later. My total insulin usage is down by at least 15% and I have many fewer lows. I also used the 630G and liked that pump.

I urge you to engage with Medtronic on the issue of the 670G and if you me to reach out to them on your behalf I would be glad to do that. No I do not have any inside information and you will get the information about as soon either way.

I am happy to help if you wish.

what do you mean your a medtronic ambassador? and any way you can help. i just dont want to use the 630G if it doesnt have what will help me the most. but do message me

LOL, Laura_S! I bought my Animas Vibe in Sept 2017…one month before the company’s demise. :flushed: Even so, I love the pump and will run it out as long as it will go. And a warranty is a legal thing, regardless of their “we’re out of business” letter - J&J cannot dispense with their obligation to cover it from bumper to bumper.

I wish I had my old Ping, but I traded that one because the internal battery died…:frowning:
