Just a lateral thought. When I run out of interesting ideas for my blog, I simply don’t post 
That’s why it’s sometimes months between my posts; I hope that when I do write it’s usually worth reading.

Have you ever written about the dichotomy of studying medicine/research and then being given a serious diagnosis? So the doctor is the patient? This reminds me of the movie “The Doctor” with William Hurt, which was probably before your time.
